This page explains how text messaging works when you share your mobile number with HomeSecurityRates.com — what you may receive, how often, and how to stop.
HomeSecurityRates.com operates an SMS messaging program for customers who request home security quotes through our website, phone line, or advertising. We are an independent comparison and brokerage service. We are an authorized dealer for ADT and Brinks Home, and we work with additional providers including Vivint, Frontpoint, and Guardian Protection.
Messages you may receive include quote follow-ups, provider offers and promotions, appointment confirmations and reminders, installation scheduling, and account or order updates.
You opt in by providing your mobile number and agreeing to our consent language on a web form, over the phone, or through a Facebook lead form. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies based on where you are in the process. Customers in our standard follow-up program may receive up to 24 messages over 90 days. You may also receive messages from a representative in response to your inquiry.
Msg and data rates may apply. HomeSecurityRates.com does not charge for messages, but your mobile carrier may. Check your plan for details.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that.
Opting out of texts does not remove you from phone or email contact. To stop those, contact us using the details in Section 10.

Supported on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Service availability is not guaranteed on all carriers or in all areas.
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide. Notify us immediately if your number changes or is reassigned.
Information you provide is handled under our Privacy Policy. We share your information with the providers you are matched to so they can contact you about your request. We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued participation after a change means you accept the updated terms.
